A team of 2 friendly men helped me move from my 1 bedroom apartment into 2 bedroom apartment (about an hour away). It took them 6 hours, which Is excellent timing. The Service and professionalism was on point the entire 6 hours.

Their service and communication throughout the process was five star. This is the first time I used a professional moving company to move from Philadelphia to Cambridge, Massachusetts. They packed my one apartment bedroom carefully and professionally (with three amazing movers who came down from NYC). No fuss, and very attentive to detail. They packed my things as if it were their own property. Grace helped with the price quotation which was about 20% less than what other companies quoted. They also allowed me to have two different drop locations in Cambridge, my office and my home and only charged $100 extra for that second drop (of a dozen or more book boxes). John helped with the after sales service and he also deserves five stars. Overall, I highly recommend the company for any move, and I will use them again in the future without hesitation. Also, nice work to the guys from Boston who did the delivery, very kind and professional. I moved from Denver to Connecticut.
Auto delivery took about a week and household goods took 16 days from the pick up date for delivery.
Both pick up and deliver crew are very good.Very efficient, friendly and got things done in about 3 hours.( we lived in a two bedroom apartment.)
I felt car delivery truck driver to be little bit 'rude/frustrated' about his job but I did not care much about it.
Good thing about this company - the person who gives you the quote(Jake in my case) will be the person who you will be following till the the end(of course you get some emails from other in that company for updates..etc).
No major damages, got almost all of the things delivered on the specified date(you will typically get notice the day prior to delivery from the truck driver).
I would definitely hire this company for my future moves! read less

I felt very much grateful to these guys as they agreed to help me moving my stuffs at eleventh hour. So exceptional service. I was their last customer before starting the vacation.

Temperature was so charming, They worked hard and placed all furniture in a right way, right time and the right place. Professional guy was everyone. Though they moved ours in the last-minute, but they have been generous enough to keep the price at the regular level.

Long Distance Movers arrived on time, extremely pleasant group of guys, very courteous, treated all of our belonging with the utmost of care, and went out of their way to protect our property too.

They were cautious with moving around our furniture, making sure that nothing touches the wall, making sure that our rugs would not get dirty. At one point they wanted to take off their shoes because our rug was just cleaned, but I told them they did not have to. One thing that I really liked was once we got into my brand-new home they reassembled some of my furniture. They seemed to have loved their job, they were very friendly and professional.

Very professional - I really can't say enough good things about Long Distance Movers. They made me feel very comfortable, and had an amazing attitude. I have never been able to say how great a moving company was. The last experience I had with a moving company had me worried about the process. They didn't have the great attitude, strong worth ethic's, and fair prices like Long Distance Movers had. My sister is also about to move into Seattle and i already have her using Long Distance Movers as well. I would totally recommend them to everyone. read less

I moved into the area recently and was recommended to them by a friend. They did a great job been on time and was very careful with all of my house hold items. I recently moved into a new place and wasn't able to move everything by myself.

I had to schedule my move only a few days ahead and was a little concerned that I wouldn't be able to book the date on such a short notice. Mark, my contact person at Long Distance Movers, really worked his magic and made it happen. The move was smooth. I had a few boxes of personal belongings, some home appliances, a piece of bedroom furniture and a couple chairs. All of my belongings were delivered to my new address on time and damage free. When I was packing some of my stuff that I decided to pack on my own, Mark shared with me a few tips that I found really helpful in avoiding damages during transportation. When reviewing potential moving companies on Yelp i was impressed by the number of comments (and high ratings) for Long Distance Movers on both customer service and friendliness of the moving crew. I decided to give them a shot (along with two other companies I requested a bid from) and would like to add my voice to the reviewers who have already yelped their positive experience. From the very beginning my experience was positive. I was able to arrange for an estimator to view the apartment within two days (more difficult than it sounds since I was coordinating from 1500 miles away), received my estimate within an hour of the estimators inspection and was able to set the date for the "pack" on the same call. On the day of the move the packing team arrived on time and were very pleasant and helpful throughout the process even accommodating some of my last minute requests without fuss. Additionally, for a small additional fee they were able to confirm a specific date and time for delivery to my mother's new residence in Connecticut which was extremely important to me (and my mother). Many moving companies offer a 2-3 day window for delivery, as I learned.
From beginning to end the process was as smooth and effortless as a cross country move can be. These guys are good,...you should give them a try. read less
