Communication was on par and everything came on time. It was raining pretty hard when Sean and Sergey arrived at our new home. They went above and beyond to protect my new flooring and carpet. One guy unloaded into the garage and the other guy (with no shoes) handled the move inside. They even put clear plastic all over my home just in case the boxes were wet. Sean and Sergey even took away all of my boxes and made sure to clean up. Wow! I can't believe it. Oh, we did the full packing service in Texas. The movers there packed everything for us and did everything relatively quick. They were great too!

Almost forgot to mention, Matthew, the man who started it all. He handled giving the quote and paper work. He was quick with emails and responded to my needs quickly. If I had to move again, I'll definitely use Long Distance Movers. I'm going to refer all my friends for sure!!!!! read less

Let me tell you that these guys came out on top as far as overall moving experience is concerned. The movers were possessed with only one goal when they came in to my apartment, to consolidate all the garbage I had accumulated, which I called furniture, and package it nice and clean for the ease of transportation across the country. They moved their magic wands and within a few hours my house was as empty as my wallet always is. Strictly speaking in engineering terms, they minimized the number of boxes needed to pack all the stuff, without excluding anything, no matter how trivial it was, for example iPhone instruction manual (who needs that) or "Microwaving for One" book I had lying around. They were able to carry heavy loads on their shoulders and walk in a straight line, without hitting walls or hot girls coming their way. They shipped my car 2K miles in open trailer, without damaging it and the car arrived exact same day that was promised to me, nothing short of amazing. My apartment stuff arrived a week later, was promptly unloaded from truck, assembled nicely and my case file was closed. We had completed our longest move ever without much hassle and stretching our budget. If I ever move again ,though chances of that happening are less than a meteor strike on 29th February, I would call these guys first. I have done it many times and thought that was the norm. Our last recent move we decided to try something new.

We called up Long Distance Movers, which we heard from a friend was awesome. They gave us a great quote and also gave us peace of mind that everything would be taken care of. After talking with the owner, I felt at ease with the move. He was very friendly and made sure all of our concerns were taken care of. The level of professionalism was perfect. I was comfortable and had a lot of confidence on this team. I literally stood back while the guys hand packed everything in the house with meticulous care. I didnt even pack one thing (although i tried). The furniture was wrapped and the dishes and fragile furniture was wrapped in bubble wrap.

Not only did they do a good job packaging our belongings, they were very careful. They weren't in any rush and made sure that no furniture would bang up the walls or slide around in the back of the truck. Everything was moved into their huge truck. After everything was packed and loaded up, the house was spotless. All we had to do was vacuum. No one wants to move, but if you do, call Long Distance Movers. They are very reliable. read less

I've moved two vehicles through them from Houston tx to San Francisco Ca over the summer and one vehicle from Ohio to California this past winter (during a storm no less).

What they offer is fast and SAFE service for your vehicle. Each of my cars that were brought over were handled with the utmost care. The reps I spoke to both went out of their way to ensure that my vehicles arrived in perfect order and left no stone unturned.

I'll be honest with you all, they were not the cheapest company. Their quote was always $100-$200 more than the next guy... however I found that small premium paid off huge. I got full access to the reps that outlined my deals. They made themselves available even when they were on their days off. It's nerve wracking moving cross country and having to trust an expensive asset such as a vehicle to people you do not know. However in the hands of this company I had the peace of mind knowing that they were treating my cars as if they were their own. The 3 times that I've used this company I've always gotten 5 star service. I'll pay the extra $100 knowing that my car will get to its destination on time and in one piece. read less

I was moving from the San Diego area down towards Glendale CA, that is about a 3 hour drive.
Everything went by so smoothly, and they provided the service in a quickly manner. The reason as to why I am giving them a 5 star especially is because they are very friendly and professional.

I guess I am another happy and satisfied costumer. I love this company's professionalism also. They knew what they were doing right from the beginning. They also have great deals while I was moving. For example, they had specials for office moving and I saved a lot! I moved without all the headaches because of this company. I was so lost before moving and I thought it was impossible for me to move all the office supplies. But of course, after these guys arrived I knew that I would be in good hands from the start.

When they arrived in the office, they first placed everything in a box or wrapped the items and then proceeded to move things. It didn't take as much as I had imagined. They even wrapped the computer monitors in order to not break or scratch them as they carried it so carefully. That was honestly my biggest worry. They sure got my trust now and will be calling them for all my moving needs. These guys were A+ on everything! read less

Was overwhelmed going into this move but then my mood shifted into more of a positive one when dealing with the staff. Everyone was upbeat, and happy which rubbed off on me just a little. Mark got us set up with a good group of movers that transformed a stressful day into a better one. They had a couple extra boxes in the truck just in case which turned out to be perfect because when I was going through the cabinets I missed a bunch of plates.

They helped me wrap those so they would stay safe for the move. It's all the extra little touches this business offers that makes for a good complete package. read less

We would be late by 3 hours but the delivery person was v.sweet to wait for us and there were no extra charges for the wait too! I was put in touch with Jake who is very professional and always available. One thing i really liked about them was that there was no hidden fees. He also served as the concierge throughout the move. I was able to receive timely replies from him via email and phone the few times I had questions throughout the move.

The actual movers and driver arrived on time and were very quick as well as efficient in the moving process. Delicate/expensive items such as my TV and computer desk were wrapped in moving blankets before being packaged and secured away in the cargo hold. It was a different team who unloaded my stuff in Texas, but they were also quick to work and as professional as can be. Everything arrived in the condition it was in. The company also has an inventory list with labels to keep track of everything you pack so you can just compare the list of items to all your labeled furniture/boxes to make sure nothing gets lost. For the extra valuable items, there's extra insurance you can pay, but I moved relatively light so I didn't need it.

All in all I'm very satisfied and would recommend anyone who's planning to move across states to consider their service. It was money well spent. read less

I actually shipped my car over the Christmas holidays but the driver got it there in a very reasonable time. I know they're not the cheapest option out there but I really didn't want to take a chance on having any kind of issue knowing that I would be moving to a completely foreign place for me. But I'm really glad I had them help me since they also allowed me to keep some things in the trunk.

The driver communicated very well for pick up and delivery and he also waited for me for a day to adjust to my flight schedule.
If I had to ship my car again I'd definitely use it. Even if it's slightly more money the fact that I can trust them to ship my car safely without a problem is worth every penny. read less

Our moving situation was becoming closer and closer to the deadline, we had about a week to move in and we had been saving up for months to be able... read moreOur moving situation was becoming closer and closer to the deadline, we had about a week to move in and we had been saving up for months to be able to afford a quality company to help. The initial fee was our main concern, realizing that a move the relative size of ours was going to run a few days and presumably be costly.

Thankfully when we called in for an in home estimation process the price was actually much more manageable than we had anticipated. They were actually more lenient on having things done to our liking instead of just performing the move in ways they thought convenient and cheap which most competitors do.

We have had much prior experience with other moving companies, and that is one of the main reasons we presumed that prices would run high because they have in the past. Large furniture was designated to certain equipment which ran at no extra cost and made it fairly easy to lift and transport couches, bed sets, and drawers.

When they arrived the movers arranged a thorough array of the entire house to notice the layout of the rooms and which ones they should attack first. They began with the first floor just to clear out more space and legroom, this took about two full days and spanned from the kitchen to the living room as well as the downstairs restroom. They packed things very concisely into crates and boxes in ways that ensure most of the space within the crates was utilized.

Ultimately we were very satisfied how the move worked out and I would not have it any other way, if we were to begin from scratch we would no doubt contact these guys again for their efficient service. You get the best bang for your buck with these movers meaning they work their hardest and do not just stand around while the clock runs and your wallet burns. read less

I moved from my 1 bedroom apartment into the same size apartment located 10 min away. At the beginning I wanted to try doing everything myself and after unsuccessful attempt decided to contact these guys. They came on time and were helpful throughout the whole move. I didn't need to do anything. They even unpacked everything and put the furniture in exact same way it was before.

Let me start by saying that I used another moving company from San Diego to Seattle...and they were horrible. They packed all my furniture and boxes very carefully, but when they arrived in Seattle, everything was thrown upside down. They broke all of my dishes, two antique chairs, an easel and a bike (more than $5000 of damage)...when I claimed the broken items for insurance, they offered to pay me $15.

With all that being said, I was very nervous to move again. When I received my quote from LDM, they assured me that the same company packs and unpacks the truck. They quoted a fair price, and they provided a small delivery window. They packed up all of my items and treated my home with respect. When I arrived to Texas, I had a different crew, but they were just as lovely. No broken items!!! My items got to Texas with ninja speed and my home was unpacked immediately.

I will definitely use LSD for my next move. Thank you! read less

She couldn't get it restored in San Diego so we offered her to get it restored here in LA. I found long distance movers as they were really reliable cross country movers. They said they had special packing service that provided double protection of load so when the wardrobe was delivered we saw that it was really packed safely. read less

I forgot to reserve the elevator for my move in the high-rise I was moving out of. I had around 30 mins to get everything moved out of my 1000 square ft 1 bedroom + Den apartment and they made it work.

The movers hustled and still stayed organized even with the huge time crunch. Literally moving out in between other peoples moves. After that was accomplished the rest of the move was cake walk. They even helped me a unpack a bit! read less
