Let me tell you that this company is EXCELLENT ! I researched moving companies on Yelp as that is my go to website to find companies that I can trust to produce positive outcomes. Customer service was excellent . My initial phone contact was with "Kelly" and she was so helpful, professional, and coordinated both Home and auto move so smoothly! The Home Movers were so professional and wrapped our computers, TV and furniture so well and on delivery every item was perfect.
The auto shipment was timely and employees were excellent and auto was delivered in perfect condition- I can't say enough about how impressed I am with LDM! I will recommend them to everyone !!

I forgot to reserve the elevator for my move in the high-rise I was moving out of. I had around 30 mins to get everything moved out of my 1000 square ft 1 bedroom + Den apartment and they made it work.

The movers hustled and still stayed organized even with the huge time crunch. Literally moving out in between other peoples moves. After that was accomplished the rest of the move was cake walk. They even helped me a unpack a bit! read less

We came across many moving companies that would offer us a "package", but something
didn't feel right. After hours of research we stumbled across Long Distance Movers and contacted them right away.
At first we weren't expecting much, but the very first response we received from
them assured that they were, in fact, different from all the other moving
agencies. These guys were borderline perfect. They understood exactly what we
needed them to do and really tailored to all our needs. We had unlimited
contact via emails and phone. I was in a bit of a panic when it came to leaving
all our wedding gifts and other valuables in care of complete strangers, but
they assured me everything would be fine. And they were right.
They showed patience and understanding regarding other commitments we had other than
the moving process. They also agreed to provide us with free storage services for some items we wanted brought along at a later
date.
The staff of Long Distance Movers were available from the start to the end of the moving process which was very reassuring.
Long Distance Movers were the best priced moving company we found, given the scope and the quality of the services they offer.
They are absolute professionals that make it all seem so easy. Our relocation
went off without a hitch and we have to admit we actually enjoyed our moving day.
We owe it all to these guys!
Admittedly, it's pretty scary choosing a stranger to plan your interstate moving and handle your belongings, but we definitely picked the best people

The only thing that took extra time was my west elm bed frame which needed an alan wrench and a drill to take apart. Luckily they had that on the moving truck because I forget to tell them I needed that done. If I could sum this moving team in one word I'd say they're very "prepared" Because of this there wasn't too much they couldn't handle. They used the same tools to put my bed frame back together when it arrived. Two dudes show up. My apartment was barely packed up. Thankfully the guys were handy and had a cardboard TV box handy for my 52" flat screen and did a wonderful job wrapping up corners and legs of my giant wood dining room table and chairs. This all took less than 1.5 hours to pack and bring down 3 flights of stairs. Last time I used EZ movers and those half wits scuffed up my leather couch & dropped couple of fragile boxes.

It was a swift move to my apartment in west side to storage unit up north about 6/7 miles away.

Anyway, highly recommend them! They're professional and they won't disappoint. Thanks Guys. read less

Let me tell you that these guys came out on top as far as overall moving experience is concerned. The movers were possessed with only one goal when they came in to my apartment, to consolidate all the garbage I had accumulated, which I called furniture, and package it nice and clean for the ease of transportation across the country. They moved their magic wands and within a few hours my house was as empty as my wallet always is. Strictly speaking in engineering terms, they minimized the number of boxes needed to pack all the stuff, without excluding anything, no matter how trivial it was, for example iPhone instruction manual (who needs that) or "Microwaving for One" book I had lying around. They were able to carry heavy loads on their shoulders and walk in a straight line, without hitting walls or hot girls coming their way. They shipped my car 2K miles in open trailer, without damaging it and the car arrived exact same day that was promised to me, nothing short of amazing. My apartment stuff arrived a week later, was promptly unloaded from truck, assembled nicely and my case file was closed. We had completed our longest move ever without much hassle and stretching our budget. If I ever move again ,though chances of that happening are less than a meteor strike on 29th February, I would call these guys first. The city where I work wasn't that far away, but it was far enough to make me realize that I cannot relocate on my own. I needed a good moving company to assist me with this challenge. That's when I decided to search for a reliable and professional company online, since none of my friends could help or recommend me with anyone. I started searching the next morning, and came across a myriad of different companies. After getting some insight on each one, one stood out. It was Long Distance Movers. Their website was neatly organized which drew me in the most. I decided to look at the reviews and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. They had over a hundred positive reviews from previous satisfied customers. I kept on reading and eventually gave them a call. Another concern of mine was pricing. I wasn't on a budget really, but I still wanted to save some money to hopefully start my own business one day. I decided to give them a call and the lady quickly answered. She was extremely kind, polite and very helpful. She provided me with all the information I could possibly need, including how to prepare my car for relocation, how much will the journey cost etc.. After finding out how affordable this company was, I hired them immediately! I scheduled my relocation and started preparing my car per their instructions. They were even nice enough to check up on me occasionally to see if the preparations were going well as well as provide me with any additional information. My car was prepared for transportation, so they took the car first. Afterwards they started packing and wrapping all of my belongings in preparation for relocation. They were kind and polite. I could not even put into words how impressed I was. Before I knew it they had arrived at my new address ready to help me unpack everything and when they finished they left. This was truly an amazing experience and I am so thankful to have been less stressed. Without Long distance movers I wouldn't have been able to relocate so easily and smoothly at an affordable cost. Was overwhelmed going into this move but then my mood shifted into more of a positive one when dealing with the staff. Everyone was upbeat, and happy which rubbed off on me just a little. Mark got us set up with a good group of movers that transformed a stressful day into a better one. They had a couple extra boxes in the truck just in case which turned out to be perfect because when I was going through the cabinets I missed a bunch of plates.

They helped me wrap those so they would stay safe for the move. It's all the extra little touches this business offers that makes for a good complete package. read less

I actually shipped my car over the Christmas holidays but the driver got it there in a very reasonable time. I know they're not the cheapest option out there but I really didn't want to take a chance on having any kind of issue knowing that I would be moving to a completely foreign place for me. But I'm really glad I had them help me since they also allowed me to keep some things in the trunk.

The driver communicated very well for pick up and delivery and he also waited for me for a day to adjust to my flight schedule.
If I had to ship my car again I'd definitely use it. Even if it's slightly more money the fact that I can trust them to ship my car safely without a problem is worth every penny. read less

If you think about it, this is a niche market that has always and will presumably continue to exist forever! People are always moving, but it is such a hassle and headache to deal with. But after getting into reach with these guys, my entire perspective has changed!

They were worth every single penny. They helped us packing, organizing, and transporting all of our boxes, including fragile and sentimental objects that we have had for years. They were very personable and caring gentlemen who knew that it was our personal belongings that they were handling and seemed to portray great care and respect towards our stuff. I really appreciated that.

Upon finishing the packing and all, we received two more gentlemen who had straps around their stomachs and brought these insane looking dollies and hoists. They were the guys in charge of lifting the heaviest things apparently, the refrigerator and washing machines and the other things. I honestly did not know what we would do without their help! Thank you so much for the service and we would totally recommend them to anyone else in need of a helping hand for moving. read less

But the thought of having to move all my stuff to the new house turned all that excitement into stress.

Luckily for me, a friend recommended these guys to me. Considering I JUST closed on my house, funds were not exactly at the greatest. But the reasonable pricing gave me the chance to spoil myself with their services. Scheduling was easy and they were very careful with my things.
